A Unit Of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Education Group Aurangabad Indiratai Mule Sarswati Shishuwatika, (Junior School), opened its doors in 2004, Phualambri Aurangabad Currently, it offers pre-primary education at three levels— Nursery, Junior KG and Senior KG. Our pedagogy is a blend of informal & formal methods of learning and emphasis is laid on the Play Way Method and Activity Based Learning. At the school, the emphasis is on developing in students, self-confidence and the ability to effectively communicate in Marathi and also English. Our curriculum is an effective balance between a clearly defined structure that impacts all children, and a flexibility that allows for individualization for children, within the classroom.
The Kindergarten Programme makes use of a range of individual and group activities which create a lively and positive learning environment. These activities are designed to focus on building concepts and strengthening competencies and skills. Children are provided opportunities to demonstrate curiosity and creativity to learn new concepts and build on existing ones. Singing, rhyming and reciting are some strategies employed in the Language Arts and the Phonics Programme. Activity areas or learning centres are set up in the classroom, with resources that actively engage children to learn about particular themes or topics. They provide opportunities to create, draw, manipulate, discover, explore, learn new skills, and to make mistakes.

Teachers’ Empowerment program Deendayal Education Group is designed to equip teachers with all sorts of arsenals for conceptual and practical teaching. The training programs are of cascade model. Subject experts who are called as Teacher Coordination Camp. And Program in-charges who take care of the implementation are trained by the Central Office team.
